Hylia is one of few places in ImperiusX where The Old Religion, The Worship of the TriGoddesses, is still prominent over the state-endorsed Sith-Imperialism, and as such, it is also one of the only places where the religion can be practised openly and en-mass. Similarly, Hylia is a place further unlike the rest of ImperiusX in that there is also a prominence of Grey Jedi there, as opposed to the Dark Side Adepts that populate much of the rest of the nation, and "sorcery" does not carry the stigma it does on the Home World. Though, the practitioners of the magic born of the Old Religion insist that it is merely exotic usage of the Force, and not the distinctly different kind of "magic" used by some other cultures.
The Hylia colony is smaller than the metropolises that ImperiusX has built on its other civilian settlement worlds, and it has a much more rural feel to it. While there are several large, metropolitan cities, most of the population is spread out amongst widely spaced estates, cottages and farms, as well as a multitude of smaller cities and towns that dot the planet. As such, most people live largely self-sufficient lives among small populations, and generally tend to gain a deep appreciation and understanding of their surroundings and nature in general.
Despite this, however, the general technological amenities that are found throughout ImperiusX can still be found almost everywhere on Hylia, though obviously, in lesser quantities and generally older models than what could be found elsewhere. The large cities and their private citizens purchase the latest technologies that they require and/or can afford, and these technologies are passed along to to the rest of the population through either national or privatized means.
As of the nation's founding, Hylia is governed by the Yarr Family.
