Darth Talbur's lightsaber is the primary weapon of the Sith Lord Darth Talbur. Born Gerd Hammah, Darth Talbur was swept up in his world's anti-Force-user bigotry and subsequent attempted genocide. Emperor Josh Walker of the Galactic Empire intervened and allowed all Force-sensitives, Hammah among them, save haven on the Korribanosian colony world Ziostos, where he and most others amongst his people pledged life-long loyalty to Walker.
At some point before 14 NE, Hammah trained in the arts of the Sith and dubbed himself Darth Talbur, an anagram of the word "brutal", which relates not to his temperament but his intense fighting style. It is unknown how he came across the plans to properly construct a lightsaber.
Talbur's lightsaber's most obvious feature is its hooked hilt. This reflects his status as a weaponsmaster; traditionally, hooked blades were preferred by those who focused more on lightsaber dueling than Force powers. Its shape offers several advantages during lightsaber combat.
It is safe to infer from the style of hilt that Darth Talbur uses the Makashi lightsaber form.
