The Beckdorf Family is a highly empowered family of Patagonia

It is best known for it´s leader Juan Martín Beckdorf, who in part managed to override the chaos created after the Revolution. He also was Consul for the first period of the Republic and has been a constant respresentative to the ARN. Juan Martín was also the first Consul of Patagonia after the unification of 13 N.E., and acted in office for a year until he died on June 25th.

The Family itself is believed to be a political party, filled with contacts in the Senate and the Executive.

Officially, many members and close contacts to the Beckdorf Family are part of the Monsian Patagonian Union, created by Martín Beckdorf Himself after the events in the ARN Takeover.

His son Marcelo (Marcelus) was recently a senator of the UMP and currentlytook the seat as Consular Commander, organizing and helping the shaken Republic to get back up during the Second Patagonian Civil War and the Drake Passage War

Prior to this war and the Alliance-Axis Conflict Emilius, the son of Juan Martín went missing. He was rescued from a band of terrorists after a year, during 14 N.E.. Before the Laptev-ARN Conflict, the family was targeted by an unknown organization. Emilius dissapeared during the attack on the Beckdorf Manor on Puerto Fey. The youngest, Atia, was unharmed, however the wife of the Consul was left seriously injured. This event had a mayor effect that would lead to the surrunder in the Laptev-ARN Conflict and later to the start of the Second Patagonian Civil War and the Drake Passage War.

On June of 14 N.E. Juan Martín died due to complications of his wounds after he was attacked in La Junta, Cochamó, his pulmonary condition seemed stable the days before the defunction, however he suffered a heart attack that triggered a system collapse, leading to a cardio-respiratory failure.
